Community Transport
Community Transport teams throughout west Essex aim to provide transport for people who:
- have restricted mobility
- are unable to use public transport
- live in isolated areas not served by public transport
- or have transport needs not met by existing timetables.
The scheme relies heavily on teams of volunteers who kindly offer their time and commitment to meet the special transport needs of west Essex residents. The service provides a lifeline in both rural and urban areas. Community Transport also run local bus routes and provide transport for a wide range of clubs, voluntary/community groups and care homes.
