Download NHS health app and get a free gift
Representatives from the local NHS will be at Harlow train station during rush hour over the next couple of weeks giving free gifts to Harlow commuters.
To qualify, commuters need to download the free Health help Now app and show it on their smart phone or tablet to the representatives.
It can be downloaded free by searching Health help Now in your app store or on Google play.
NHS representatives will be at the station between 7am and 9am on the mornings of 31 January and 1, 7 and 8 February. They will also be available between 5pm and 7pm on Wednesday 8 February.
The app provides health advice and guidance on the most common illnesses and symptoms. It also directs people to the nearest and most appropriate service for their needs.
Dr Rob Gerlis, Harlow GP and Chair of West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group said: “This app should be the first point of reference for all Harlow residents so they can see what services are available to them in the area. Download it now, flash your smart phone at our reps and get your free gift!”
Renier van Zyl, IT Director of Stellar Healthcare said: “We developed this app as part of the Evening and Weekend GP service to provide information and advice to people in west Essex. It is easy to use and download and provides a wealth of information – especially for those who work or have children. I’d recommend that everyone downloads it for quick access to help and advice on the go."
